Under the direction and supervision of qualified facilities personnel, carries out trades and craft related tasks involved in building and vehicle maintenance.
In this position you will:
Performs a wide variety of repair, operation and maintenance work: Repair and maintain building infrastructure, furniture and vehicles to include general mechanical, basic carpentry and painting, routine vehicle maintenance, basic plumbing and mechanics; Work orders are completed in a timely and satisfactory manner; Scheduled maintenance is completed with in 30 days of due date
Acts as an assistant to qualified facility staff in assisting with carpentry, painting, plumbing and mechanical maintenance: Works under direction of facility engineers and others makes parts and supply trips from local vendors and other campus locations; Assists with custodial tasks and other tasks such as moving furniture and equipment
Enters time and service activity: Documents time and actions as measured by monthly service time reports
Maintains confidentiality of records or medical center information at all times
Performs other duties as assigned
Required qualifications for this position include:
Basic carpentry experience
Basic painting experience
Basic general maintenance experience
