Providence Health & Services Diagnostic Imaging Quality, Training, and Safety Supervisor in Everett, Washington
Providence is looking for a Diagnostic Imaging Quality, Training, and Safety Supervisor (1.0 FTE, Days) to work for the Imaging Department at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett in Everett, WA.
The Diagnostic Imaging Quality, Training, and Safety Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day coordination and supervision of all Diagnostic Imaging quality and safety operations for imaging services performed at hospital and non-hospital sites within PRMCE Imaging.
In this position you will:
Provide annual training for staff to ensure they meet educational requirements outlined by department leadership.
Revise and update annual competencies check lists for staff.
Conduct department orientation for staff and for new hires.
Lead and direct evaluation and selection of new safety equipment or new technology.
Maintain current knowledge of regulatory, accreditation, compliance law, and related standards, regulations and rules as they pertain to imaging.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Experience/familiarity with the ACR Accreditation process
Experience/familiarity with the Join Commission Accreditation process
WA State Radiology Technologist Certification, ARDMS Ultrasound Certification, or WA State Nuclear Medicine Certification
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Graduate of a Certified Radiologic Technology Training Program approved by the JCERT, the American Registry of Radiological Technologists or the American College of Radiology. ARDMS will be considered.
Five years’ work experience as a Radiologic Technologist. Other related work experience will be considered.
Experience in a hospital setting with demonstrated competence in performing the full range of routine and special tasks as delineated in this job description.
