Providence is calling a CT Technologist (0.9 FTE, Nights) to work in the Imaging Services at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett in Everett, WA

The CT Technologist will Independently performs diagnostic CT scans on neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Performs procedures under the direction of a Radiologist.
In this position you will:
Demonstrate age specific patient care considerations for the population served
Perform CT procedures on neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients according to the department protocol
Review procedures with the Radiologist
Reconstruct and films exams in a timely manner to provide accurate avenues for diagnosis
Prepare films for file room and/or hangs films on viewers for timely review by the Radiologist
Assist Radiologist in performing surgical procedures
Provide radiation protection in accordance with prescribed safety standards and department protocol
Follow all procedures and guidelines pertaining to contrast
Interact with patients and families
Create and Maintains records and documents
Maintain proficiency and the operation of the RMS computer system to ensure timely procedure is performed and proper billing of patients occurs
Maintain supplies in examination rooms to ensure timely procedures
Monitor equipment operation and maintenance
Maintain order and cleanliness of work areas
Qualifications:
Required qualifications for this position includes:
Associate's Degree -or- Coursework/Training: Approved Radiologic Technology Training Program
Active WA State Radiology Technologist license and ARRT Certification in Radiology
Must take and pass the ARRT (CT) specialty exam within a year from hire date
Must continue to be in good standing with ARRT and Washington State while employed
Valid Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) card and must be obtained within two (2) weeks from date of hire
Knowledge of medical terminology and sterile techniques
Basic computer skills
