Providence is calling a Clinical Research Coordinator I – Clinical Research to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett in Everett, WA.

We are seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator I – Clinical Research to be responsible for coordinating and maintaining diverse activities related to clinical research. This includes, but is not limited to: patient eligibility; registration/enrollment; data compilation, abstraction, and submission; study evaluation; quality control; and patient follow-up. The CRC1 interacts closely with the institutional investigators, industry sponsors, contract research organizations, NCTN research bases, clinical staff, laboratory staff, and pathology staff. The CRC1 collaborates with the fellow clinical research staff throughout the duration of the study to ensure high quality and efficient study conduct. Performs all duties in a manner, which promotes team consent and reflects the Sisters of Providence mission and philosophy.

In this position you will:

  • Assist in the collection of source documents

  • Review and abstract data for the completion of case report forms and query resolution

  • Track/report adverse events, serious adverse events, and protocol deviation

  • Develop case report forms for investigator-initiated trials

  • Assist in preparing time estimates for clinical trial budget negotiation process

  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate study/patient data in the Clinical Trials Management System (CTMS)

  • Review study calendars for accuracy within the CTMS

  • Prepare patient charts for audits

  • Remain organized and complete study related activities in a timely manner as directed by the clinical trial agreements

  • Able to prioritize multiple duties of the job to ensure deadlines are met

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience.

  • Two years research or data entry/registry experience

  • Familiarity with medical and/or scientific terminology

  • CPR
