Providence Health & Services Cardiovascular Technologist in Everett, Washington
Providence is calling a Cardiovascular Technologist (1 FTE, Variable Shift) to the Cardiovascular Lab at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett in Everett, WA.
We are seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist to assists physicians in performing invasive diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular and electrophysiological procedures. The Vascular Technologist performs a variety of functions to include surgical assisting, procedure monitoring, laboratory circulating, and film and report management.
In this position you will:
Assist physicians with CVL and EP procedures.
Function independently in all required roles: scrub technologist, circulator, and monitoring tech.
Operate equipment and use supplies proficiently and efficiently.
Create and maintain records and documentation.
Maintains supplies and cleans rooms.
Maintain appropriate inventory for area and restock appropriately.
Interact with patients and families.
Provide calm, caring environment, and greet and orient patient/family appropriately.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Associate Degree or two year technical program -OR- completion of an accredited cardiopulmonary, cardiovascular, respiratory therapy or radiologic technology training program
WA State Licensed ARRT, RCIS eligible and must receive RCIS within 6 months of hire if not ARRT licensed.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Two (2) years recent experience in an invasive cardiac cath or electrophysiology (EP) lab within a hospital setting
