Providence Diagnostic Imaging Technologist in Colville, Washington
Providence is calling a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist (Imaging Services, Variable Shift, 0.0 FTE / on-call) to Providence Providence Mount Carmel Hospital in Colville, Washington. In this position you will:
Supports the Performance Improvement process.
Follows and supports hospital policies. Follows the principles and requirements outlined in the Commitments and Compliance Integrity Program Employee Handbook and any other organizational or departmental materials related to compliance with laws and regulatory requirements.
Maintains a safe environment for staff, patients, and visitors.
Patient-Care Positions: Considers individual needs in communication with, assessment of, and treatment of patients and staff, including ethical, cultural, psychosocial, religious, and age-specific aspects to include infant through the elderly.
Supports patient rights and the organization’s code of ethical behavior.
Regular and predictable attendance is required for all positions. Failure to meet this standard can result on progressive discipline up to and including termination.
Demonstrates competency in producing high quality films.
Operates imaging equipment including mobile equipment in a proficient manner.
Prepares room, equipment, and materials as needed for procedures.
Transports patients to and from procedure/examination room.
Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology (X-Ray, CT)
Current certification or registration with State of Washington
Current ARRT registration or registry eligible (all modalities) - must receive ARRT certification within 3 months of hire
Must be current with department CPR requirements or become current within three months of employment
