Providence is calling a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) ( Medical/Surgical , Nights, 0.6 FTE) to Providence Mount Carmel Hospital in Colville, Washington. In this position you will:
Support the Performance Improvement process.
Follow and support hospital policies. Follow the principles and requirements outlined in the Commitments and Compliance Integrity Program Employee Handbook and any other organizational or departmental materials related to compliance with laws and regulatory requirements.
Maintain a safe environment for staff, patients, and visitors.
Patient-Care Positions: Consider individual needs in communication with, assessment of, and treatment of patients and staff, including ethical, cultural, psychosocial, religious, and age-specific aspects to include infant through the elderly.
Support patient rights and the organization’s code of ethical behavior.
Regular and predictable attendance is required for all positions. Failure to meet this standard can result in progressive discipline up to and including termination.
Utilize psychomotor skills to assist RN in direct and indirect patient care as directed by policy and procedure.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Sufficient education for license/registration
Current Nursing Assistant Certified (NAC) licensure in the State of Washington
Registered (NAR) or certified (NAC) in Washington State
NAR must obtain (NAC) certification within 120 days of hire
Annual verification of license
Preferred qualification for this position include:
- Recent experience as a Nursing Assistant in a hospital
