Providence is calling an Surgery Aide (0.5 FTE, Variable Shift) to work in Surgery Department at Providence Centralia Hospital in Centralia, WA.

Under the general supervision of the Clinical Nurse Manager or Team Leader, the Surgery Aide is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized department. Assisting nurses and anesthesia with either patient care or equipment needs; responsible for the ordering and stocking of supplies, transporting patients, and may include surgery scheduling.
In this position you will:
Provide daily support for operating room staff.
Assist in preparing clean/sterile environment in the operating room.
Assist in departmental maintenance and order.
Ensure adequate supply inventory for the department.
Assist PACU in transporting patient from recovery room to the nursing unit.
Required qualifications for this position include:
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS)
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Coursework/Training in Certified Nursing Assistant
One (1) year experience in a surgical services department support position
