Providence is calling an adult and pediatric experienced Per Diem, Variable Shift Echo Tech / Cardiac Ultrasound to Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, CA.
In this position you will:
Be responsible for delivering a high quality patient care in the Cardiodiagnostic Department by:
Performing all variety of non-invasive cardiac services.
Assuring other techs clinical skills and competencies by serving as a key lead staff educator on techniques for non-invasive cardiac studies.
Assisting in a daily work flow coordination
Serving as a Technical Director responsible for maintaining and achieving ICAEL accreditation.
Perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound examinations and other cardiac diagnostic tests for subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending physician.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Current Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer ( ARDMS ) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCI )
Current BSL -HCP - Basic Life Support - for Healthcare Providers: Adult, Child, Infant sponsored by the American Heart Association ( AHA) or the American Red Cross (ARC ); CPR / AED for professional rescuer accepted on hire until card expiration date
Minimum one year experience in Adults and Pediatric Cardiac Diagnostic Ultrasound Technology
Ability to lift / carry up to 50 lbs.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Post High School specialized/technical training from an institution in cardiac ultrasound technology/non‑invasive cardiac procedures.
