Providence Health & Services Director - Maternal/Child in Burbank, California
Providence is calling a full time Maternal/Child Director to Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, CA.
In this position you will:
Be accountable for the delivery of high quality nursing care and direct oversight of the administrative management team for multiple nursing units
Fulfill all duties and responsibilities associated with the Director position
Required qualifications for this position include:
Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association
Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within 90 days of hire
3 years of recent clinical experience in an acute care hospital setting
3-5 years of experience in a Director Role in hospital administration or specialty field
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Communication skills (verbal and written)
Ability to deal with multiple priorities and short time frames
Change management – adaptable to change
Strong interpersonal skills
Engaged, excited and ability to work in a large matrix system
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Master's degree preferred (MSN) or related field is preferred
Management experience in a hospital/health care environment
