Providence is calling a full time, day shift Clinical Documentation Specialist / QA Coordinator RN to Providence Saint Joseph Home Health in Burbank, CA.

In this position you will:
Maintain professional and ethical practice in accordance with Providence core values.
Be responsible for continuous assessment of agency processes to insure compliance with government regulations and accreditation standards.
Act as a resource to the Home Care clinicians and the leadership team regarding standards, policies, and regulations.
Assist the Administrator of Providence Home Care in supporting the philosophy, objectives and policies of the agency.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Current unencumbered California State Registered Nurse License
Basic Life Support ( BLS ) certificate
Minimum 5-years' experience in home care
Minimum 2-years' experience in ICD-9 or ICD-10 coding.
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Windows and Excel.
Valid driver’s license with no excessive violations or accidents.
Meetis minimum state requirements for auto insurance.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Science of Nursing Degree ( BSN )
Master’s in Nursing or health care related field
OASIS C2 certification
Experience with Allscripts and EPIC
Knowledge of CMS 5 star ratings
