Providence Health & Services Assistant Nurse Manager - Catheterization Laboratory in Burbank, California
Providence is calling a full time, day shift Assistant Nurse Manager to our Catheterization Lab at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, CA.
In this position you will:
Manage and coordinate unit, direct and supervise functions and activities, interpret policies/procedures/protocols, standards and regulations as appropriate
Perform duties in any nursing capacity as needed
Demonstrate proficiency in delivering care to assigned age-specific patient population ( e.g., infants, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, pediatrics), and participates in related continuing education
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Current California Registered Nurse (RN) License
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association
Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association
3 years of experience in a clinical or leadership role in the Cath Lab
1 year management experience in similar role
strong interpersonal and communication skiills; team player
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN)
Familiarity with different cath lab/cardiology systems
EPIC knowledge or experience peferred
