Providence Health & Services Program Manager - Strategic Accounts in Beaverton, Oregon
Providence is calling a Program Manager - Strategic Accounts to Providence Health & Services in Beaverton, OR.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Responsible for developing and implementing annual plans for PHP strategic engagement with provider partners engaged in value-based contracts. Plan will include goals and evaluation of quality and risk capture to show impact of engagement efforts.
Engage key medical group leaders on a quarterly basis to jointly analyze and explore strategies for acting on PHP data reports. Approximately 60-80% of time will be spent in the field or in virtual meetings with provider groups for the first year. Must be a trusted and knowledgeable resource to partners on diverse, technical topics.
Collaborate with Coding, Quality, and Informatics teams to discern appropriate interventions for identified performance opportunities and enhancements to data sharing/reports.
Collaborate with Quality, Coding, and Provider Contracting to inform updates and evolution of value-based contracts.
Liaise with Behavioral Health, Care Management, and Medical Directors as related issues emerge.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s Degree. 7 years of relevant equivalent work experience may be substituted for degree.
5 years working in or with a managed care organization or clinical setting in a managed environment, in a pharmaceutical sales role or in a management consultant role with demonstrated ability to develop business strategy by working directly with management.
3 years experience in health care industry.
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to build externally-facing relationships and that achieve performance outcomes.
Demonstrated ability to lead successful, externally-facing initiatives that require internal collaboration with matrixed teams to achieve goals.
Knowledge and experience in either: quality improvement, risk adjustment, or pharmacy.
Strong verbal and facilitation skills.
Highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities.
Strong ability to lead through influence.
Experienced in proactively applying analytical, problem solving, and technical abilities to daily responsibilities. Demonstrated ability to identify data issues and propose methodological solutions. Demonstrated ability to conduct research, interpret quantitative/qualitative analysis.
Familiar with strategic planning tools and approaches.
Knowledgeable of quality measures used in HEDIS, Medicare Stars, Medicaid CCOs and/or the risk adjustment models of CMS.
Highly self-motivated and able to work independently with minimum supervision. Comfortable working with all levels of management and staff.
Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel as well as other PC applications.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), Certified Risk Adjustment Coder (CRC).
