Providence Health & Services Pharmacy Member Service Center Manager in Beaverton, Oregon
Providence is calling a Pharmacy Member Service Center Manager (1.0 FTE, Days) to Providence Murray Business Center in Beaverton, OR.
In this position, you will:
Be responsible for oversight and management of daily operations within the PHP Pharmacy Services Department call center and prior authorization processing center.
Have duties that include measuring and maintaining high quality services to PHP members, providers and pharmacies, managing day-to-day operations, and working to address service or staff workflow related issues and in setting and meeting departmental productivity metrics.
Manage coordination and implementation of systems upgrades and new work flows and policies within the department and integrate workflow with other PHP departments.
Manage quality deliverables and required metrics to assure compliance with all pharmacy and health plan regulations and regulatory requirements for all lines-of-business - Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial Fully Insured, Administrative Service Only plans, and Pharmacy Benefit Only plans.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's degree in business, science or health care related field
Licensure (or application for licensure submitted) in Oregon as a Pharmacy Technician
National Certification as a Pharmacy Technician within 12 months of accepting position
3-5 years of experience in a management, supervisory, or team leader position within healthcare or managed care field
3-5 years of customer service experience
Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills with documented competence in word, outlook, excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint and/or One Note
Documented training, education and/or training on medication nomenclature, drug product availability, and/or medical terminology
Documented expertise in developing policies and procedures, as well as workflows in operational settings and/or knowledge management systems
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Call center and prior authorization processing supervision within a managed care environment plus skills and capability in drug nomenclature and procedural coding (CPT, HCPCS) and ICD-10
Managed care pharmacy experience
Project management, Six Sigma, Change Acceleration Process (CAP) and Work Out training and experience
