Pharmacy Business Analyst - Managed Care
This position will be remote and may pivot to a hybrid model in 2022 working a combination of in office and remote. We are seeking candidates that are available in commute distance to the office in Beaverton, OR.
The Pharmacy Business Analyst – Managed Care is responsible for providing excellent pharmacy client customer service and leading all aspects of managing the pharmacy benefit for large customers. Key functions of this role include identifying opportunities for pharmacy plan optimization and ensuring successful execution on pharmacy strategic priorities. This includes managing the implementation of pharmacy benefits and programs, management of communications, analyzing data to understand utilization patterns, analyzing and presenting reporting packages, and understanding all regulatory and contractual requirements that are essential to meet customer needs. This role requires coordination between internal departments (sales, account management, analytics, regulatory and compliance, product), contracted vendors, and external business partners. The successful candidate will have experience managing project plans, executing on deliverables, and delivering strong written communications and oral presentations.
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or Healthcare related field -OR 4 years additional experience as a Pharmacy Technician or a related healthcare field.
Medication and drug product category training and medical terminology.
Licensure in Oregon as a Pharmacy Technician and National Certification as Pharmacy Technician within one year of employment
5 years experience as a Pharmacy Technician or directly related field.
1 year Managed care pharmacy experience.
