Providence Health & Services Membership Accounting Specialist I in Beaverton, Oregon


Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Membership Accounting Specialist I to our location in Beaverton, OR.

We are seeking a Membership Accounting Specialist I to manage small to medium employer groups and individual accounts (member eligibility, enrollment, system configuration, premium billing and payment reconciliation).

In this position you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Manage small to medium employer groups and individual accounts (member eligibility, enrollment, system configuration, premium billing and payment reconciliation).

  • Provide customer service for member eligibility, premium billing, payments reconciliation, and state and federal regulations.

  • Research, investigate and resolve member and employer issues.

  • Take initiative to bring up issues and concerns, make recommendations for resolution.

  • Collaborate with other departments/ teams to address concerns or complaints.

  • Assist with developing procedures.

  • Develop industry knowledge, stay abreast of regulatory changes and requirements.


Required qualifications for this position include:

  • High School Diploma or General Education.

  • 1 year of experience working in a customer service environment, or successful completion of a Providence internship.
