Providence Infrastructure Technology Consultant PSJH in Beaverton, Oregon

Description:

Providence St. Joseph Health is calling an Infrastructure Technology Consultant PSJH to our location in Beaverton, OR; Renton, WA or Irvine, CA.

We are seeking an Infrastructure Technology Consultant PSJH to deliver business value by providing technical counsel and project leadership within the IS organization regarding technology integration initiatives and operational activities by leading groups of technologists, as needed, in undertaking these efforts. The work involved is usually highly important to the business objectives of the enterprise; high-risk; and/or time sensitive. All duties must be performed in a manner that promotes team success and reflects PSJH Mission and Values.

Focuses on a wide variety of activities within the PSJH computing infrastructure. These activities include, but are not limited to: technology integration initiatives in support of mergers, acquisitions, affiliations, sale of IT services, Epic technology or other efforts enabling connectivity or partnership with third parties; operational activities in support of large scale projects and programs requiring technical coordination between various technical disciplines; assessment activities which includes identifying, assessing, designing, implementing, and value capture of opportunities for internal and external parties.

In this position you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate effective interactions and positive interpersonal skills in dealing with fellow employees, leaders, stakeholders, other department employees and vendors in order to maximize productivity and positive employee relations including virtual team leadership and interactions at the program level where required.

  • Drive informed decision making about where to invest efforts based on established priorities and available resources. Leads virtual project teams in carrying out projects. Understands business needs and sets accountabilities that meet established goals.

  • Lead multiple large, complex, sometimes high-risk projects. Develops, manages and executes project plans (objectives, goals, scope, schedules resources costs, and dependencies) that are integrated and synchronized with other areas of the business adjusting plans across the business as required to ensure successful delivery of commitments and effective use of resources.

  • Serve as a liaison and technical leader for project-related activity. Manages and integrates groups of diverse disciplines in collaborative activities by acting as key liaison and facilitating cross-function communication.

  • Lead IT initiatives by establishing a clear scope and delivering economic solutions with an emphasis in foundational to full integration services, technology assessments, solution design and service management integration.

  • Lead technical assessment services producing reports, presentations, plans and budgets

  • Leverage subject matter expertise in one or more IT disciplines including infrastructure technology, applications, operations or management to make projects successful.

  • Perform staffing integration for M&A balancing the needs for the organization with the skills and current role of an individual.

  • Create technology sales proposals for incorporation into Community Technology overall service proposals.

  • Ability to travel as required.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Technology, Healthcare or similar or equivalent education/experience.

  • 5 years Subject matter expertise in infrastructure technology, applications, operations or management.

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Experience in healthcare technology

  • Solid infrastructure knowledge (server hardware, switches, routers, circuits, storage)

  • Knowledge of networking (DNS, protocols, virtual networks, subnets, firewalls)

  • Demonstrated experience successfully implementing technology solutions

  • Knowledge of Active Directory required

  • Knowledge of Azure, Citrix and O365

  • Experience in data analysis, PowerBI, DevOps

  • Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical caregivers

  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment requiring a high degree of autonomy
