Providence Healthcare Configuration Data Analyst: TCS in Beaverton, Oregon

Description

Providence is seeking a Healthcare Data Configuration Analyst: TCS who will:

  • Be responsible for the oversight of the Trizetto Communication Systems (TCS) used by Facets users including all Operations teams

  • Maintain, configure and implement Facets TCS templates

  • Manage Keyed Inserts and placeholders in TCS

  • Monitor TCS communication history

  • Manage Facets TCS SharePoint site, support Facets and TCS upgrades

  • Lead issue tracking and application optimization, ensuring positive working relationships with all customers of supported system applications

  • Work closely with all Operations teams to assess and optimize letter workflow

  • Identify both short and long-term fixes for data, file extract, workflow, display and data migration issues, and explore letter enhancement opportunities

  • Maintain a working knowledge of other interfaced data and information systems used in the Health Plan (e.g. Facets, EAM, CAE, etc.)

  • Have a strong understanding of business operations and how they are best accomplished leveraging IS applications

  • Lead strategic coding configuration to ensure operational efficiency gains are realized in letter workflow for Operations teams

  • Collaborate and communicate the business needs of Operations teams at both business and technical levels to our business partners (e.g. Cognizant / Trizetto, Zelis, etc.), internal/external staff, Information Services (IS) partners (e.g., Business Analysts, Developers, Programmers) and other departments within the Health Plan

  • Serve as the point of contact for internal/external PHP business partners to ensure clear business requirements and documentation lead to meaningful and measurable changes that improve operational success

  • Serve as the technical content expert for upgrades, system implementations and optimization work within Facets TCS and function as a champion of change to ensure system efficiencies are adopted by all applicable teams

In this position you will:

  • Provides key analytic and statistical support for quality, clinical, and operational improvement activities

  • Effectively summarize complex information into appropriate charts, tables, and figures in order to convey the meaning of the data to customers and decision-makers

  • Develop, prepare, and distribute complex clinical and operational reports utilizing multiple data systems

  • Develop and provide support for relational databases, including reporting, design, and data management

  • Provide key analytic, statistical support and database management for accreditation and other external regulatory review, audit activities, disease management, provider profiling, case management, concurrent review, prior authorization, and other utilization and quality management functions

  • Provides project management for mid-sized projects

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Helps others to clarify problems; adapts and modifies established approaches

  • Identifies and selects appropriate tools, data, and analysis techniques to diagnose problems and develop solutions

  • Exercises confidentiality of classified information based on security procedures

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in highly quantitative field (e.g. Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Economics, Engineering/Physics, Accounting, or Computer Science), plus 5 years of experience in data analysis -OR- a combination of equivalent education and experience

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Trizetto Communication Systems (TCS) experience

  • SQL experience

  • Facets experience

  • Healthcare organization/health insurer experience
