Providence Health & Services Health Engagement Coordinator in Beaverton, Oregon


Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Health Engagement Coordinator to our location in Bearverton, OR.

We are seeking a Health Engagement Coordinator who will assist the Health Management team with supporting PHP groups work-site wellness programs and assisting the PHP Health Coaching program. This includes support in preparing for meetings with research on employer wellness program topics and implementing work-site wellness programing. This role will be responsible for making screening calls and performing support functions for the Health Coaching team. This role provides support to the Health Management team in order to cultivate positive client relationships by providing timely follow-up on inbound requests and follow-through on committed expectations. The Health Engagement Coordinator plays an integral role in crafting and executing communication campaigns aimed at engaging members in healthy behaviors and available resources. In addition, this role assists with wellness vendor relationships, wellness webinar presentations, product development projects, and onsite wellness activities on request. This position serves as a member of the Health Plan Quality and Medical Management department and interacts frequently with other health plan and health system departments. Work is performed with latitude for professional judgment and requires excellent interpersonal and writing skills.

In this position you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Assists the Health Management Consultants in supporting client relationships; i.e. follow-up work with clients, research on employer health and wellness program topics, coordination and packaging of information for health plan clients.

  • Implement PHP work-site wellness programs stakeholders services.

  • Assists the Health Coaching team in answering phones, making outbound screening calls, doing follow up surveys and organizing materials.

  • Plays an integral role in crafting and executing communication campaigns aimed at engaging members in healthy behaviors and available resources (including various media including print, e-mail and web).


Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's Degree.

  • 2 years experience in:

  • Customer service-focused role. -OR-

  • Progressive job responsibility. -OR-

  • Project coordination experience. -OR-

  • Combined experience of customer service, progressive job responsibility and project coordination.

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a health-related field.

  • Experience working in the health plan industry.

  • Experience working with outside vendors.
