Providence Health & Services Behavioral Health, Clinical Program Coordinator in Beaverton, Oregon


Providence is calling a Behavioral Health Clinical Program Coordinator to Providence Health & Services in Portland, OR.

In this position you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with the sales and customer facing teams to inform and align the Behavioral Health Strategic Plan and Integrated Clinical Model

  • Manages complex projects and programs including: implementation of new programs and initiatives, quality improvement, and strategic initiatives.

  • Uses data and outcomes to demonstrate value to key stakeholders around the integrated model and programs.

  • Facilitates change, change management, and process improvement opportunities internally and with external partners that increase quality member experience, and ensure effective and efficient outcomes.

  • Collaborates with sales, quality, and member experience teams to identify gaps and needs in behavioral health management.

  • Stays abreast of evidence, outcome based trends in health care innovation and integration and incorporates those into new solutions and ongoing program development.

  • Informs senior and executive leadership, management, and individuals in various parts of the organization, through data and presentations related to the components of the BH Strategic Plan, Clinical Model or ongoing program development.


Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Master’s degree in a related field

  • 5 years experience in health plan administration, behavioral health program development, or leadership in a behavioral health clinical setting.

  • Previous high level individual contributor or leadership experience building relationships with key stakeholders, department managers, and executive management.

  • Experience facilitating complex decision making and problem-solving among multiple executive stakeholders with different interests and priorities.

  • Independent Behavioral Health Licensure (LPC, LMFT, LCSW, CADC, etc..)

  • Skills in strategic planning, program management, group motivation, discipline and diplomacy.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills on interpersonal and presentation levels.

  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills in data driven population health management.

  • Experience working collaboratively with a sales or product team.

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Previous experience in collaborating with community organizations and building partnerships.

  • Knowledge of clinical solution development, behavioral health product development, or implementation of clinical programs.

  • Knowledge around current substance use disorder initiatives and trends (nationally and locally).
