Providence Health & Services Patient Relations Representative - Medford Clinics in Ashland, Oregon

Providence is calling a Patient Relations Representative to one of our various Primary Care, Family Medicine or Immediate Care clinics in the Rogue Valley area. We have full-time,part-time as well as on-call positions within our locations. In this position, you will:

  • Be the first point of contact to patients or visitors in person or by phone.

  • Play a key role in maintaining a high level of patient satisfaction by providing exceptional customer service.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 1 year of customer service experience or successful completion of a Providence internship

  • Typing skills (minimum 45 words per minute)

  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Windows and Office applications

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Some college

  • 1 year of medical office or healthcare experience

  • Basic experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and/or computerized billing systems

  • Medical terminology experience
