Providence Health & Services RN Manager - Simulation Program in Anchorage, Alaska
Providence is calling a RN Manager - Simulation Program (Simulation Lab, Day Shift, 1.0 FTE) to Providence Alaska Medical in Anchorage, Alaska. In this position you will:
Consistently demonstrates and incorporates principles of safety and infection control into daily activities as outlined in Environment of Care, Infection Control, and Exposure Control manuals and department safety policies/procedures.
Lead the ongoing development and implementation of a regional clinical simulation strategic plan.
Provide management, supervision, competency development and productivity of simulation staff.
Lead and coordinate the purchasing and maintenance of all simulation equipment across the region.
Develop systems and processes that support the operations of the regional simulation program.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing
Current unencumbered RN licensure from the Alaska State Board of Nursing
5 years of experience in Nursing
Demonstrated expertise in management or leadership in a healthcare environment
program development and/or evaluation
providing clinical simulation service.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Graduate degree (Master or higher) in Nursing, Education, Business, Administration, or related field (Nurses without a graduate degree are required to be in active pursuit of such within the first 18 months of employment)
