Providence Health & Services Receptionist - Child Development in Anchorage, Alaska
Providence is calling a Receptionist (Child Development, Day Shift - Monday through Friday 10:30am-7pm, 1.0 FTE, Full-Time) to the Providence Center in Anchorage, Alaska.
The Receptionist will be responsible for reception and clerical functions/support at CCD front desk.
In this position you will:
Be responsible for security entrance mechanism/monitoring entrance and exit doors in lobby. Assuring children are accompanied by a parent/guardian or CCD caregiver at all times.
Answer telephones and direct questions to the appropriate staff.
Respond to real or simulated emergency and disaster situations according to CCD, MOA licensing and PAMC hospital procedure.
Demonstrate clear understanding of physical hospital and campus layout to expedite workflow and direct/escort patients/families and visitors.
Hold self and others accountable for the delivery of excellent customer services and quality care following hospital and department standards, policies/procedures, and mission statements.
Respect the client’s cultural and personal values, beliefs, communication needs and preferences in all care and services.
Required qualifications for this position include:
High school graduate or equivalent
Computer data entry/word processing and general office skills
Ability to work well in a busy setting and deal with telephone clients with courtesy
Must be able to read, write and speak English
