Providence Health & Services Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Anchorage, Alaska
Providence is calling a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (Dept, Shift, 0.0) to Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska.
In this position you will:
Utilize radiopharmaceuticals and associated Nuclear Medicine equipment for use in diagnostic and therapeutic studies.
Perform a variety of Nuclear Medicine procedures according to department, hospital and national standards.
Be responsible for accurately preparing and completing records for equipment, radiopharmaceuticals and patient data according to regulatory standards.
Be responsible for quality assurance, quality control, maintenance and troubleshooting of Nuclear Medicine equipment.
Communicate with physicians, nurses and other team members concerning patient status, diagnosis, and other related information.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Graduation from an approved school of Radiology Sciences with certification in Nuclear Medicine
CNMT or ARRT (N) license, if registry eligible, must obtain license within 1 year of employment
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- 1 year working as a staff Nuclear Medicine Technologist
