Providence Health & Services Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Anchorage, Alaska


Providence is calling a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (Dept, Shift, 0.0) to Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska.

In this position you will:

  • Utilize radiopharmaceuticals and associated Nuclear Medicine equipment for use in diagnostic and therapeutic studies.

  • Perform a variety of Nuclear Medicine procedures according to department, hospital and national standards.

  • Be responsible for accurately preparing and completing records for equipment, radiopharmaceuticals and patient data according to regulatory standards.

  • Be responsible for quality assurance, quality control, maintenance and troubleshooting of Nuclear Medicine equipment.

  • Communicate with physicians, nurses and other team members concerning patient status, diagnosis, and other related information.


Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Graduation from an approved school of Radiology Sciences with certification in Nuclear Medicine

  • CNMT or ARRT (N) license, if registry eligible, must obtain license within 1 year of employment

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • 1 year working as a staff Nuclear Medicine Technologist
