Providence Manager Clinical Operations - PAMC CARES Clinic *$5,000 Hiring Bonus and Relocation Assistance* in Anchorage, Alaska

Description

Responsible for the daily operations and budget management of pediatric abuse center, Alaska CARES. Leads Unit's performance that reflects safety, quality, and productivity standards. Actively and collaboratively participates in setting standards and decision-making that results in meeting system and medical center goals. Adopts and promotes evidence-based best practices. Coordinates team to deliver patient care in a compassionate and ethical manner according to recognized standards and staffing care models. Exercises independent judgment with 24-hour accountability for clinical and operational issues of assigned area(s). Facilitates change and promotes teamwork, constructive communication and conflict resolution. Supervises multidisciplinary clinical staff. Works closely with the Director to implement strategic initiatives.

Hours: Full-time, 1.0 FTE, Day Shift, 40 hours per week.

$5,000 Hiring Bonus and Relocation Assistance for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline.

  • Candidates with a Master's Degree must have a minimum or five (5) years of experience working in the field of child maltreatment, child advocacy, social work, health care or other related professions.

  • Candidates with a Bachelor's Degree must have seven (7) years of appropriate experience in child maltreatment, child advocacy, social work, health care or other related professions.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in social work

  • Experience with budget development/fiscal management; hospital social work; multidisciplinary team coordination; human services program development and leadership of complex teams

  • Knowledge of roles and responsibilities of multidisciplinary teams that respond to child maltreatment investigations

  • Understanding of processes involved in criminal prosecution and civil child protection and custody litigation a plus

  • Knowledge of mental health diagnosis, assessment tools, and treatment modalities are helpful

  • Knowledge of Child Advocacy Centers and National Standards for Accreditation

  • Experience working collaboratively with diverse groups
