Providence Health & Services Hospital Access Monitor - Security in Anchorage, Alaska
Providence is calling a Hospital Access Monitor (Security, Variable Shift, 1.0 FTE - 40 hours per week) to Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all - especially those who are poor and vulnerable.

In this position you will:
Greet visitors and caregivers, utilizing the appropriate questions to determine if they are able to enter the hospital
Use an infrared thermometer (or oral thermometer as backup) to determine entrance criteria
If patient seeking treatment and has fever, mask immediately and call appropriate unit or department for escort
Coordinate with units to collect patient items that may have been dropped off by family or friends
Understand that at no time can anyone be turned away for seeking treatment
Follow visitor and vendor guidelines as applicable for limited access policies
Required qualification for this position include:
- H.S. Diploma or GED - or- equivalent education/experience
Preferred qualification for this position include:
- 6 months excellent customer service experience
