Providence Health & Services Registered Nurse Unit Coordinator - Intensive Care Unit in Walla Walla, Washington
Providence is calling a Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Coordinator (ICU Dept, Night Shift, 0.9 FTE - Fulltime) to Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Walla Walla, Washington. In this position you will:
Work: Week 1, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday; Week 2, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
Support the Director with the planning, implementation, and monitoring of patient care services for the department.
Provide support to assure a balance of optimal and efficient patient care; patient, staff, and physician satisfaction; and cooperative and collaborative partnerships with other organizational departments and professional groups in order to meet our vision of care for patients.
Support care delivery utilizing evidence-based practice.
Provide shift to shift management of productivity targets within a context of constant change in patient volumes, patient acuity, patient workload, and available resources.
Support and assist with education of unit staff as needed.
Provide leadership for the nursing care team serve as a role model for nurses, physicians, and support staff.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Washington State
Current Basic Life Saving(BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
Minimum two (2) years experience in acute care in department specialty
Experience as a Charge Nurse
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
