Providence Health & Services Quality Control Coordinator - Sterile Compounding Pharmacy in Tukwila, Washington
Providence is calling a Quality Control Coordinator (Pharmacy - Sterile Compounding, Day Shift, 1.0FTE) to Providence Infusion & Pharmacy Services in Tukwila, Washington. Position Details: This is an exempt position (40 hours/week). Day shift. Monday-Friday, 8am to 5pm.
In this position you will:
Be responsible for maintaining and improving the quality management system for all processes related to manufacturing according to current good manufacturing practices (cGMP).
Fulfill or oversee the quality control unit functions as described in the cGMP.
Approve or reject all components used in manufacturing, manufactured products, documents related to manufacturing.
Review or perform laboratory quality studies related to drug products and components.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor or Master Degree in a Life Science Discipline
At least 6 months practical bench research, analytical, or clinical laboratory experience and skills
Microbiological aseptic techniques
Knowledge of safe practices for Bioclass level 1 laboratory
Either two years of hospital, home infusion, compounding pharmacy, or manufacturing experience in sterile drug product preparation, or two years experience in a cGMP Quality Control role in sterile product preparation facility
Preferred qualifications for this position include :
Completion of an approved Pharmacy Technician training program
Current certification and license by the Washington State Board of Pharmacy as a pharmacy technician
Five (5) years of hospital, home infusion, manufacturing experience in sterile drug product preparation, or experience in a cGMP Quality Control role in sterile product preparation facility
