Providence Health & Services Nurse Educator - Infusion in Tukwila, Washington
Providence is calling a Nurse Educator (Home Infusion, Day Shift, 1.0 FTE) to Providence Infusion & Pharmacy Services in Tukwila, Washington. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all - especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
This position will be providing classroom and one on one training to Nurses, agencies, and other departments on IV Infusion. Some travel may be required a few times a year.
In this position you will:
Provide best-practice clinical training and development.
Serve as a clinical role model, teacher and coach.
Assess, develop and implement a wide variety of clinical education activities related to IV Infusion including specialty infusion documentation practices.
Participate in the evaluation and ongoing delivery of the educational programs.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Washington State
Certified Registered Nurse in Infusion (CRNI) credential OR obtained within six (6) months of hire
Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
Current Washington State Driver's license and access to daily use of an insured automobile
Two (2) years home infusion experience
One (1) year acute care nursing experience
