Providence Health & Services Administrative Assistant - Hospice in Tukwila, Washington
Providence is calling an Administrative Assistant (Hospice, Day Shift, Full Time) to Providence Hospice of Seattle in Tukwila, Washington. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all - especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
Position details: This is a full-time position with benefits (40 hours/week, 1.0FTE). This position works Monday through Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm, no weekends.
In this position you will:
Work with medical records to identify patients who are in their third hospice benefit period
Work with the Medical Directors to schedule face to face visits for those patients
Track in an excel spread sheet all the information above
Work at the front desk to help cover breaks and lunch periods
Other duties as assigned
Required qualifications for this position include:
High School diploma or equivalent
Two (2) years experience with general clerical duties, preferably in a healthcare setting
Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Some college or professional administrative training
Previous administrative experience as a front desk receptionist and experience with scheduling
Experience using McKesson or other Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system
