Providence Health & Services Project Specialist in Torrance, California
Providence is calling a Project Specialist to Providence Health & Services in Tarzana, CA.
We are seeking a Project Specialist to participate in relevant projects, manage minor projects, provide daily support in maintaining project documentation, coordinate meetings, produce project reports, and provide other general office support. The Project Specialist must be effective in time management while dealing with multiple projects and tasks.
In this position you will:
Develop, maintain, and distribute project information and documentation. May include meeting agendas, minutes, scheduling meetings, status reports, SharePoint, and other project related documents.
Be responsible for the creation of project status reports/presentations as directed by chief construction officer.
Work independently and manage time effectively.
Be responsible for performing assigned individual project tasks and contributes to the completion of the team tasks accurately and timely.
Be responsible for managing administrative tasks/functions for the construction team (chief construction officer, director, construction operations, and construction contracts, director) to include travel arrangements and calendar management. Work closely with executive leaderships’ s support team to coordinate meetings and travel.
Be responsible for developing communication materials such as emails, construction updates, and others by working closely with project team and communication partners.
Be responsible for providing project information in a timely manner to project leads, sponsors, and stakeholders as required.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Associate’s degree is preferred, however, a blend of education and experience will be considered.
Three (3) or more years in the field of project coordination, project support
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to use proficiently Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Project. Must be proficient with office and AV equipment.
Must be able to flex work schedule based upon team needs (early morning, evening meetings).
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Project Management Certification.
Real Estate or Construction Experience.
