Providence is calling a Full Time, Day Shift Clinical Social Worker to Providence TrinityCare Hospice in Torrance, CA.
This position will provide coverage for the San Fernando Valley and LA areas.

In this position you will:
Work as a team member of the hospice Interdisciplinary Group (IDG).
Provide bio-psychosocial services to patients/families/caregivers which include assessment, care planning, intervention and evaluation.
Provide care to premature infants, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, young, middle and older adults.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Graduate of a Master’s (MSW) program in social work accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.
Possess and maintain current CPR certification
Minimum 1-year experience in health care.
Understand hospice philosophy and issues of death and dying.
Demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills and organization skills.
Valid driver's license with an automobile that is in good working order and insured in accordance with state and/or LCMHS/TrinityCare Hospice requirements.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Experience in hospice care.
Bilingual in English/Spanish.
Demonstrates working knowledge of computer applications, i.e. Microsoft Office and e-mail.
