Providence Health & Services Certified Nursing Assistant - Transitional Care Center ( Per Diem - Variable shifts ) in Torrance, California
Providence is calling a Certified Nursing Assistant ( Per Diem / Variable Shift ) for the Transitional Care Center to Providence Little Company of Mary Transitional Care Center in Torrance CA.
In this position you will:
Perform delegated routine and predictable patient care tasks/duties and works under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).
Be responsible for duties which may include, but are not limited to EKGs, vital signs, monitoring, basic patient care and transportation.
Respond appropriately to patients and families with knowledge of age-specific needs based on scope of service of unit/department where assigned.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Current California Certified Nursing Assistant certification
Current Basic Life Support ( BLS ) for Healthcare Providers sponsored by the American Heart Association
At least 6 months experience in an acute, sub acute or transitional care setting
