Providence Health & Services Registered Nurse - Cardio Vascular Unit ( Per Diem - Night Shift ) in Tarzana, California
Providence is calling a per diem, night shift Telemetry Registered Nurse to our Cardio Vascular Unit at Providence Tarzana Medical Center in Tarzana, CA.
In this position you will:
- Be responsible for planning, directing, coordinating and providing high quality, individualized patient care using the components of the nursing process
Required qualifications for this position include:
Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association
Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association
1 year acute care/Telemetry experience
National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification
Successful completion of a course in EKG recognition and it's clinical implications and/or passage of EKG test at 80%
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
National Certification (CCRN)
Completion of a critical care course
