Providence Health & Services Manager Facilities ( Full Time - Day Shift ) in Tarzana, California
Providence is calling a full time, day shift Facilities Manager to Providence Tarzana Medical Center in Tarzana, CA.
In this position you will:
Report to the Director of Facilities and provide management oversight for all phases of hospital construction projects, including coordinating workers, materials and equipment.
Ensure all specifications are being followed, and work is processing on schedule and within budget.
Assist the Director in operational and budgetary planning for the maintenance of the facility and proposed projects.
Select, trains, and evaluates staff; assures that Hospital and Department policies are observed.
Resolve difficult to complex issues encountered by the staff.
Maintain hospital facility ensuring maximum efficiency.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Current Los Angeles Fire Card within 30 days.
Three years progressive; management/supervision experience in construction, and maintenance of equipment; utilities and buildings.
Abiltiy to plan and execute a full range of administrative tasks in operating a large and complex department.
Ability to analyze complex problems and situations and realize potential effects of proposed actions.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelors degree in engineering or equivalent field
