Providence Health & Services Supervisor – Supply Chain in Spokane, Washington
Providence is calling a Supervisor – Supply Chain (Central Sterile Supply (CSS), Variable Shift, 1.0 FTE FT) to Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center and Children’s Hospital in Spokane, Washington. In this position you will:
Be responsible for the daily operations of the department, on all shifts.
Manage inventory levels within the main and sub-inventory locations to reduce the quantity of supplies on hand and maximize inventory turns.
Work closely with Purchasing in the preparation of purchase orders and other supply acquisition issues.
Provide assistance, as needed, to other surgical departments in the management of their inventories.
Hire, train, supervise, coach, evaluate, and discipline, as necessary, all department employees.
Oversee the daily operations required within the Materials Management Information System (MMIS), to account for accurate and timely inventory data management.
Coordinate the preparation, storage and delivery of surgical supplies, procedure and exchange carts, and case carts.
Be responsible for the stocking and delivery of supplies to Surgery Main OR, OH Surgery, Short Stay Surgery, Day Surgery, and Cardiovascular departments.
Required qualifications for this position include:

Preferred qualifications for this position include:
High School graduate or equivalent
Three (3) years experience in inventory control and management
