Providence Health & Services Resource Coordinator in Spokane, Washington


Providence is calling a Resource Coordinator (Nursing Administration, 0.0, Variable/On-Call, varied day and night shifts, no guaranteed benefits) to Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, Washington. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all - especially those who are poor and vulnerable.

In this position you will:

  • Use your organization and planning skills to update and monitor daily schedules.

  • Arrange for supplemental staff when necessary.

  • Coordinate with agencies for traveler staff when necessary.

  • Manage multi-line phone system.

  • Function using multiple computer software applications and data entry.

  • Collaborate and communicate with departments regarding staffing needs.

  • Maintain poise in stressful situations and continually exhibit outstanding public relation skills.

  • Maintain knowledge of Staffing and Scheduling policies and work agreements as applicable.


Required qualifications for this position include:

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Basic keyboard/computer skills

  • Fluent in Medical Terminology

  • Basic knowledge of office equipment including telephones, fax, copy machines

  • Basic Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • College education in medical office, medical information or related medical business field

  • Two (2) years experience in hospital or medical business office functions

  • Experience with Kronos scheduling software

  • Experience using web-based software
