Providence Health & Services Program Coordinator – Cancer Patient Care in Spokane, Washington
Providence is calling a Program Coordinator – Cancer Patient Care (Cancer Center, Day Shift, 1.00 FTE) to Providence Holy Family Hospital in Spokane, Washington. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all – especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
In this position you will be:
Providing Education to ensure cancer diagnosis, treatment plansand diagnostic studies are understandable.
Provide links to community resources and identify barriers of care.
Coordinate patient care throughout the continuum in collaborationwith multidisciplinary team. Serve as the liaison throughout the facility andin the community regarding serviced unique to cancer patients.
Serve as a single point of contact for referring physicians,patients, and caregivers to provide resources and assistance with accessingclinical support care services.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Associates in Arts degree
Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Washington
Clinical licensure to perform activities outlined in this description
Five (5) years applicable clinical experience or equivalent education and experience in at least one of the following areas:
Cancer Rehabilitation Services
Clinical Cancer Services
Discharge Planning/Social Services
Home Health Consultant
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor’s of Science degree in Nursing (BSN)
