Providence Health & Services Patient Care Coordinator in Spokane, Washington
Providence is calling a Patient Care Coordinator (Palliative Care, Days, Full time 1.0 FTE) to Providence Medical Group in Spokane, Washington. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all - especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
In this position you will:
Schedule appointments, exams and procedures, and process forms and data.
Patiently and effectively provide feedback and information to patients and their families.
Provide information to assist patients in obtaining hospital and clinic services.
Required qualifications for this position include:
High School diploma or equivalent
One year of clerical or customer service experience
Ability to read, write and verbally communicate in English
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Experience in a hospital or clinical setting
Knowledge of medical terminology
Proficiency with business software such as Microsoft Office
Experience with scheduling patient appointments
Experience in using a multi-line phone and greeting customers
