Providence is calling a Nuclear Medical Technician (Nuclear Medicine, Variable Shift, 0.0FTE) to Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, Washington. Position Details: On-call / Supplemental position (No hours guaranteed, 0.0FTE). Variable shifts. Includes per diem pay. On Call 24/7.
In this position you will:
Perform field uniformity, line distortion, spatial resolution, and sensitivity checks, maintaining records for quality control.
Select the appropriate technical factors to produce a quality diagnostic scan, taking into account the age, anatomy, and physiology of the patient.
Maintain communications with physicians, patients, other hospital personnel, professional associations, and other organizations.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Graduate of an approved school
Certified by Washington State AND registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-N), or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB), or registry eligible
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, adult and pediatric
