Providence Health & Services Manager – Surgical Services Business Operations in Spokane, Washington
Providence is calling a Manager – Surgical Services Business Operations (Surgery Administration Department, Full Time, 1.0FTE, Day Shift) to Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center and Children’s Hospital in Spokane, Washington. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all – especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
In this position you will:
Act as a resource to the surgery management team in budget preparation, ongoing analysis of revenues/expenses and programs.
Be responsible for cost benefit analysis of new programs and for ongoing evaluation of current programs and feasibility and profitability for continuation of these services.
Participate in the development of marketing plans for new programs and services.
Act as a liaison and work closely with Materials Management, Chargemaster and Purchasing departments.
Required qualifications for this position include:
4 year degree in business administration or equivalent work experience in a hospital setting
Experience in clinical and cost data management
Knowledge of state and federal regulatory compliance regulations
Extensive computer and data base experience
Skills in decision-making, public relations, prioritization and organization of work flow
