Providence is calling Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) - Long Term Care to Providence St. Joseph Care Center in Spokane, Washington. Openings include full-time, part-time and per-diem (on-call) positions as well as multiple shifts. This posting is not a specific job vacancy. This posting serves to establish interested candidates for current or future opportunities for Licensed Practical Nurses at Saint Joseph Care Center.

In this position you will:
Act as an advocate for patients in maintaining choice, independence, privacy, dignity and security.
Assist in providing care and implementing delegated activities of the nursing plan or as directed by the nurse leader on duty.
Have responsibility for providing support and assistance to sub-acute patients and long term care residents, which may include those with Alzheimer’s and Dementia.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Graduate of an approved Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program
Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure in Washington State
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certification
At least one year of nursing experience
Prior patient care experience in sub-acute, long term care and/or with Alzheimer’s or Dementia patients

Providence St. Joseph Care Center in Spokane, Washington is located on the campus of Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children's Hospital. Our Transitional Care Unit is designed for patients coming out of the hospital who need skilled nursing care, end of life care, or rehabilitation for those recovering from surgery or who have a functional loss from illness, disease, or an accident. Our Long Term Care unit provides skilled nursing in a residential setting, addressing the needs of our residents through creating a sense of community and home and providing a model of care that is resident-centered.
