Providence Health & Services Health Care Coordinator Registered Nurse in Spokane, Washington
Providence is calling a Health Care Coordinator Registered Nurse (RN) (Day Shift 1.0FTE, 40hrs/wk) to Providence Emilie Court Assisted Living in Spokane, Washington. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all – especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
In this position you will:
Direct the day-to-day functions, of the resident care attendants in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines thatgovern the assisted living facility.
Cooperate with other resident services when coordinating nursing services to ensure that the resident’s total regimen of services are maintained.
Assist with admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required.
Chart nurses’ notes in an informative and descriptive manner that reflects the care provided to the resident, as well as the resident’s response to the care.
Comply with regulations regarding medication assistance and delegation in assisted living.
Review medication records for completeness of information, accuracy in the transcription of the physician’s order, and adherence to stop order policies.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university
Active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Washington State
Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) card
Food handlers permit
Approved Nurse Delegation class
Group home, boarding home or assisted living experience. Experience with Nurse Delegation
