Providence Health & Services Director of Perioperative Services in Spokane, Washington
Providence is calling for a Director of Perioperative Services to Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, WA.
The Director provides leadership for patient care management, operational management, human resource management, and fiscal management of units and services within the Surgery Department and Surgery Service Line, including the Main Operating Room, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, Pediatric Surgery Center, the Surgery Admit Unit and Pre-Surgical Screening, Providence Sacred Heart Doctor's Building Day Surgery. Surgery Processing Department, and the Department’s Billing, and Computer Services.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Licensed to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Washington.
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or related field required; Master's Degree in Nursing/Business or related field required.
Five years of current nursing experience, two of which were in management, preferably in the Operating Room, Post Anesthesia Care Unit and/or in an Outpatient Surgery setting.
Acceptable references from former employer(s).
Basic computer knowledge and competency skills.
