Providence Health & Services Clinic Charge Order Reviewer in Spokane, Washington
Providence is calling a Clinic Charge Order Reviewer (Clinical Operations, Days, 1.0 FTE-full time) to Providence Medical Group in Spokane Valley, Washington. In this position you will:
Process all current charges in the Electronic Medical Record and complete for processing in Centricity Business. Consult with physician or medical staff for clarification when conflicting or ambiguous information is recorded.
Analyze reports to assure all charges for clinic have been expeditiously captured.
Utilize computer billing, registration, and scheduling system accurately and efficiently. Research appropriate insurance codes.
Remain informed of office policies and changes. Promptly incorporates required changes into work activities.
Be professional and composed in representing the physicians and clinic to patients, hospitals, insurance companies, and the Physician Business Office.
Meet productivity and quality standards on a consistent basis.
Display flexibility regarding work hours when necessary to meet monthly deadlines.
Required qualifications for this position include:
High School Diploma or General Equivalency Degree (GED)
One (1) or more years equivalent work in the healthcare field with a basic billing/medical assistant background
Basic understanding of CPT4, ICD-9 and HCPCS coding.
Extensive computer, data entry and typing experience.
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with diverse audiences.
