Providence Health & Services Central Supply Distribution Technician in Spokane, Washington
Providence is calling a Distribution Technician (Medical Supplies, Variable Shift, 1.0 FTE FT) to Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, Washington. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all - especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
In this position you will:
Perform a variety of materials management duties that include receiving, storing and distributing medical/surgical supplies, forms, office supplies and hospital mail.
Prioritize duties to ensure efficiency of work.
Use exceptional customer service and communication skills daily.
Required qualifications for this position include:
High School diploma or equivalent
Knowledge of general mathematics, typing, and use of calculator
Be able to bend, stoop, lift and carry up to 40 lbs throughout the duration of the day
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Certification in materials management by a professional society
Similar experience in a hospital or clinical setting
Proficiency with business software such as Microsoft Word, Excel or Access
Experience working with patient care supplies
