Providence is calling a Registered Nurse (RN) (Endoscopy, Providence Medical Park, Day Shift, 0.7 FTE) to Providence Medical Group in Spokane, Washington. In this position you will:

  • Formulate the plan of care with the patient/family and interdisciplinary team and documents desired outcomes/interventions for each problem listed on the plan of care.

  • Perform ongoing evaluation of patient’s condition and responses to medical and nursing plan of care, modifying plan and taking action as needed.

  • Consistently explains all procedures, treatments and medications to patient and family as appropriate

  • Intervene appropriately and effectively in emergency situations using technical skill and professional judgment.

  • Administer and document prescribed medications and IV solutions in a manner consistent with knowledge of purpose, side effects, contraindications and established guidelines.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program

  • Licensed to practice as a registered nurse (RN) in the State of Washington

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required upon hire

  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required upon hire

  • Recent experience in Endoscopy

  • Medical Sedation experience

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN)
