Providence is calling a Senior Business Analyst PSD to Providence Health & Services in Seattle, WA.
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to be responsible for implementing and executing on all reporting requirements for Physician Services & Development. This involves development of system reporting, advanced analytical support to interpret data, development of reporting tools, and meeting needs of customers for ad hoc or project data requests. Additionally, this role will work with customer groups to identify business needs, cost services and develop proposals.
In this position you will:
Be responsible for the design and oversight of PS&D analyses and reporting functions: Gathering and organizing information, analyzing data and preparing reports that summarize findings.
Plan and execute studies and analyses of business problems or issues.
Prepare recommendations for implementing new reporting procedures.
Be responsible for the design of new databases, reporting tools, general forms and reports.
Identify potential opportunities for new business offerings, both independently and in response to customer needs. Identify costs, builds and present proposals to leaders and customers.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s degree in social science, computer science, mathematics, or a related field.
Requires a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in an analytical role, and working with multiple data systems with advanced reporting requirements.
Demonstrated experience with Tableau, Excel and SQL code
Proficient in using Excel, other analytical tools and programming languages: Excel, MS SQL Server 2005, Toad for Data Analysts or equivalent data management software.
Proficient in using statistical tools: STATA, SAS, R Program or SPSS.
Experience creating Access databases.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Master’s Degree in computer science or a related field.
Experience in a health care environment.
EPIC and other EMR data manipulation and transformation experience.
