Providence Health & Services Occupational Therapist in Seattle, Washington
Providence is calling an Occupational Therapist (OT) (Occupational Therapy Dept, Day Shift, 1.0 FTE) to Providence Mount St. Vincent in Seattle, Washington. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all – especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
In this position you will:
Develop and implement treatment and discharge plans based on results, modifying as necessary to meet resident/patient goals.
Provide documentation of patient services according to departmental policies.
Assume case management and patient advocacy roles as needed.
Develops and maintains positive relationships with residents, patients, families, physicians, and staff.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy of Physical Therapy, as well as meeting all clinical affiliation requirements and passing national exam
Current Occupational Therapy (OT) licensure or certification in Washington State
Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or obtain within 90 days of employment
Valid Food Handler's Permit or obtain within 30 days of employment
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- One (1) year of experience in rehab or acute setting OR relevant intern experience
