Providence Health & Services Director of Project Management - Population Health Informatics in Seattle, Washington
Providence is calling a Director of Project Management - Population Health Informatics to Providence Health & Services in Renton WA or Seattle WA.
We are seeking a Director of Project Management - Population Health Informatics to be responsible for managing and running multiple population health informatics programs and projects simultaneously achieving specified objectives on time.
In this position you will:
Understand and set expectations for Informatics around key strategies articulated by the Assistant Vice President of PH Informatics.
Lead the assessment and review of current informatics and data analytics activities across the various Providence Health & Services care settings working with the system and regional stakeholders.
Advise on assessments and recommendations on population health informatics strategy, application selection and implementation – ability to do same for health analytics and data governance programs also desirable.
Advise on technology selection engagements for health tools or applications.
Assist with intellectual capital development
Prepare charters for each Office of PH Informatics Projects
Work across the enterprise with other project managers /change facilitators in the regions to coordinate objectives, such that interdisciplinary subject matter experts in various geographical regions are working on toward the PH Division goals and objectives.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s degree required in business administration, healthcare administration, public administration, planning or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Five year proven track record in managing multiple complex high profile projects simultaneously, and driving towards successful results. Demonstrated success in leading initiatives in a multi-region or divisional, complex organization is desired.
5 combined years in population health applications (e.g., analytics, care management) or related experience such as payer claims analytics or disease management
Must have demonstrated experience managing large IT-related projects successfully.
Excellent skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, PPT, Word, Outlook, Visio).
Ability to travel 25-50% as necessary.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- 7 years combined health system and/or consulting experience preferable; experience with population health-related vendors and/or payers would also satisfy this requirement.
